It is envisaged that this, the first version of AstraSynch, will have limited flexibility. It is however likely to attract attention of those without Blackberry Enterprise Server infrastructure in place - or organisations wishing to avoid the costs associated BES installation, support and licensing. Standard pricing for AstraSynch is US$49 for a single mailbox.

Is it a software client that allow one to do Exchange ActiveSync like Mail for Exchange for Nokia N and E phones?
Or it's an online service that act as an OTA conduit to your email domain/mailbox?
I ask this because I have my own Exchange email server with multiple email domains, so the per-mailbox will cost me too much, when I could just get Nokia or Windows Mobile devices to achieve Exchange ActiveSync natively.
